These courses are open to licensed nurses and nurse practitioners. Because state laws vary, it is your responsibility to confirm your individual scope of practice before registering. Many states permit both RNs and NPs to inject after proper training, while others may limit injection privileges to NPs only.

Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a Level I Botox & Dermal Filler Certification. This provides the documentation you need to demonstrate competency, but you must also comply with your state’s regulations. Always check with your state licensing board to confirm your authority to inject.

Each course provides 10 continuing education credits, awarded separately for Botox and Dermal Filler trainings. If you complete both Level I Botox and Level I Filler courses together, you’ll earn 20 CE/CME credits.

These credits are:

●     Jointly accredited by Medical Education Resources and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE).

●     Recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

●     Accepted by licensing boards for nurses, physicians, dentists, and physician assistants nationwide.

Nurses who complete the Level I certification are prepared to inject immediately upon completion, provided they are practicing within their state’s guidelines and clinical setting.
